Our children's team is dedicated to smiles, joy, fun, and most imprtantly - Jesus!

Welcome!

From a nursery for the little ones to special mometns for the bigger ones, your kids will find love and laughter and a strong foundation of faith here at FUMC.

 

Our dedicated nusery staff is ready every Sunday morning from 8:45am - 12:15pm. Infants and toddlers are well cared for while the rest of the family is in worship or small group. BUT - those little ones are always welcome in any church service or class! We love them in all the places!

 

During worship we have a special time just for children followed by a time in "Children's Church". If those young ones want to stay in "big church", we have activity bags to help them stay engaged. In between services is a children's small group time where they'll find kid-friendly lessons to help them know God's love and grace.

 

Throughout the year we have special events like VBS and swim parties where we make sure everyone knows there is a place for them.

Your First Visit

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly VIP host will show you where our Kids Check-In is when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

Safety

Volunteers at Kids on a Mission are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

What We Teach

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is often interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!
