First Kids

Have kids? No worries, we've got you covered. We provide nurserry for newborn to 3 years old. We have special time with children in worship, activity bags while in worship, and an optioinal children's church they can attend as part of our 9:00 Celebration service.

Where are you located?

We are at 408 N. Baylor - 2 blocks northwest of downtown. The main parking lot is on the backside of the property at the corner of Market and Academy. There is also a small parking lot across from the Sanctuary on Baylor.

What time is service?

Our contemprary service - "Celebration" - begins at 9:00am in our Activity Center on the souteast side of the parking lot (next to the Post Office)

Our traditional service begins at 11:00am and happens in our Sanctuary. You can enter through the front door on Baylor or through the breezeway off the covered dropoff on the back side of the Sanctaury.

Where do I park?

For the 9am contemporary service, it is best to park in the main parkinglot on the backside of the campus (off Market Street).

For the 11am traditional service, you can park in the small lot off Baylor and then use the main entrance to the Sanctuary (be aware there are steps on this side). You can also park in the main lot on the backside of the campus (off Market Street) and then enter through the breezeway from the covered dropoff area.

What does a Typical Service Look Like?

Our 9am service is a contemporary style service led by a gifted praise band. This service has a lot of singing, prayers led by the people of the church, and a message that helps you engage life in meangingful ways.

The atmoshere is casual and family-friendly. "Come as you are" is the motto for all our services.

Our 11am service is a traditional service led by an inspired choir accompanied by a traditonal organ and piano. Here you will experience a fairly structured worship with readings that every one particiaptes in (as much they're comfortaqble doing so), as well as traditonal hymns and the creeds of the church. It is set up to help us affirm our belief as followers of Jesus and to give us the words we sometimes struggle to find in life.

Is there something for my children?

First, please know we love children and they are welcome to be in worship no matter what age.

We do have a nursery for infants and toddlers.

We also have a dedicated Children's time most every Sunday along with a children's church time. For those who wish to have their children in worship, there are acrtivity bags for them at the entrances.

At 10am, during the Sunday School hour, there is a children's class.
